December 2 A Dickens of a Christmas  Join us on Broad Street in the heart of Downtown Greendale for our annual “A Dickens of a Christmas” celebration. Rediscover the Village Shops and restaurants decked out for the merriest of seasons, enjoy a horse drawn wagon ride, merchants dressed in  Dickens era costumes, reminisce to holiday entertainment by carolers, bell and chamber choirs,  a “Christmas Carol” play and chestnuts roasted over an open fire.

December 2 & 3 International Gift Shop Holiday shoppers discover lovely and unusual gifts at the International Gift Shop sponsored for the 45th consecutive year by Milwaukee Quakers.  All proceeds benefit peace and social justice efforts at home and around the world. 

December 2 – 4 Cedarburg Artists’ Guild Holiday Art Fair The Cedarburg Artists’ Guild presents its popular Holiday Art Fair in the Cedarburg Community Center, the perfect spot for some unique holiday shopping. All works of art are one-of-a-kind expressions, originating in the hand, heart and eye of each individual artisan. Meet the artists behind the delightful creations – celebrate local art and find the best Christmas presents ever! Plenty of free parking available nearby and free admission.

December 3 Breakfast with the Reindeer From 9 to noon, enjoy donuts, milk, hot chocolate, carolers, and holiday music with live reindeer.  Have your family photo taken with your camera to enjoy for years to come. Pictures with Santa: Visitors planning to have their children visit Santa should arrive between 8:30am-11am to assure Santa has plenty of time to visit with everyone before he leaves promptly at noon to go back to the North Pole!  Warm up in the Delafield Fish Hatchery, where there will be holiday activities for your children to do, from some of our Delafield Chamber business sponsors. 

December 3 Santa at Johnson Creek Premium Outlets Bring your wish lists and cameras,  and visit Santa near Guest Services from 1 – 4 PM. This event is free to the public. 

December 4 Holiday Gift Fair with Santa at the Gardens This December the Friends of Boerner offer you a chance to skip the holiday shopping mall madness and enjoy a relaxed morning with Santa and FBBG’s own take on a christkindlmarket– filled with gift ideas for your loved ones ranging from the quirky to the sublime. December 4 Holiday Sale at the Springs Please join us for photos with frosty, art demos, art maken’ takes, free refreshments, storytime so parents can shop 11am-1pm, free live music 1-3pm.

December 5 CP Holiday Train-Milwaukee The Holiday Train is back in Milwaukee! Bring some hot chocolate and experience a lasting tradition. 

December 6 CP Holiday Train-Tosa The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train returns to Tosa! Will you be there? 

December 6 CP Holiday Train-Hartland After stopping in Tosa, the train will make its way to Hartland! Catch it there if you can’t make it to Milwaukee or Tosa. 

December 8 Star Wars Night The force is strong at the West Allis Public Library this year, and we are going to prepare for the release of Rogue One library style! There will be crafts, snacks, games and all kinds of Star Wars fun. Check the library website or one of the information desks closer to the event for more information.

December 10 Santa at Johnson Creek Premium Outlets Bring your wish lists and cameras,  and visit Santa near Guest Services from 1 – 4 PM. This event is free to the public. 

December 10 An Old Fashion Christmas The Bay View Historical Society presents “An Old Fashion Christmas” on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016 from 3-5pm at the Beulah Brinton House, 2590 South Superior Street, Milwaukee, , WI 53207.  This event is free to the public.  There will be beverages and snacks available and folks are encouraged to bring a camera for special photos with of kids/grandkids with Father Christmas!!

December 10 Gingerbread House Decorating Party Join us at Kith & Kin for our first Gingerbread House Decorating party! Graham cracker houses and candy supplied with hot cocoa for purchase. We have two time slots available, sign up is required by Wednesday, December 7th. 9:30-11:00am & 11:30am-1:00pm. Please call 414.210.5805 to reserve, limited availability.

December 10 Brunch with Santa at Cafe Bevaria Join us on Saturday, December 10th from 12-2pm for festive fun for the whole family! Free event!

December 10 4th Annual Holiday Sip and Shop Stop by and have a drink and do all of your holiday shopping! All items are unique and handmade by local makers! Check out the link for details about the artists! 

December 10 Breakfast with Santa at Maggiano’s Little Italy Santa loves Maggiano’s as much as you do. He’s planning a special breakfast here in Milwaukee! See the link for more details about dates, features, and prices. 

December 11 A Very Merry Christmas Join us for a family favorite at the Milwaukee County Historical Society. All are welcome Sunday, December 11th for a chance to see Santa and his friend, Billie the Brownie. Museum admission is complimentary.

December 16 Holiday Pageant Holiday fun for all ages! Art activities, games, vendors, kids performances, lite dinner and more. Click the link for information about registration. 

December 16 Twilight Tours Our evening open house invites our guests to enjoy the Pabst Mansion by the glow of the original light fixtures and illuminated Christmas trees. Self-guided tours take you through each room filled with holiday cheer. Enjoy light refreshments and a performance by zitherist, Kurt Eckroth, and vocalist, Megan Kell.

December 17 Mad Hot Tap Competition This event is a culmination of the Mad Hot Tap program and is FREE and open to the public. Bring the whole family and celebrate the day with dance!

December 17 Brunch with Santa at Cafe Hollander Join us at Hollander on Downer, in Tosa, and in Mequon on Saturday, December 17th for festive fun for the whole family! Times vary; visit cafehollander.com/events for details.

December 17 North Shore Kiwanis Holiday Pancake Breakfast  Enjoy delicious pancakes, sausage, juice, milk and coffee. Kids can visit with Santa!! All Proceeds to Benefit Youth Charities.

November 3 – December 23 A Fireside Christmas 2016 This tradition has made The Fireside the number one choice for Christmas entertainment for guests from around the nation and around the world. Through songs, stories, and dances – both traditional and original – we commit ourselves to capturing the very heart and essence of the holiday season. November 17 – January 1 Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival This six-week festival sets downtown aglow with colorful lights and animated displays in Cathedral Square Park, Pere Marquette Park and Zeidler Union Square. Marvel at the spectacular sights with $1 Jingle Bus rides Thursdays thru Sundays.

November 18 – January 8 Pabst Mansion’s A Grand Avenue Christmas The holidays are an enchanting time at the Pabst Mansion! Enjoy elaborately decorated trees, festooned fireplaces, and twinkling lights are you stroll through three floors of extravagantly decorated rooms.

November 25 – December 31 Country Christmas Country Christmas features over a million holiday lights festively displayed along a mile-long trail that winds through the woods. And when you’ve finished your trip through the trail, leave your vehicle behind and visit Christmas Village and The Streets of Bethlehem. See the link for dates and times. 

December 2 – 23 Holiday Lights Walking Tour Explore the Magic of Christmas in Milwaukee Join a walking tour of Downtown Milwaukee and view the magnificent lights. This 1.25 mile walk through the holiday-trimmed streets of Downtown Milwaukee will be led by your very own holiday elf.  While you stroll the streets, you will play Christmas Trivia and hear about the history of our wonderful city.

December 3 – 24 Racine Kriss Kringle Bakery Bus Tour We’ll delve into the Racine Kringle and more bakery goodness on the Racine Kriss Kringle Bakery Bus Tour this Christmas season! An excellent opportunity to celebrate the holidays with friends and / or family while sampling (and if desired, purchasing additional) delicious holiday cookies from a collection of our favorite bakeries in Racine

December 4 – 11 Breakfast with Santa at Harley Bring the kids down to the Harley-Davidson Museum for a special MOTOR breakfast with Santa! In this annual tradition, parents and children have the opportunity to snap a photo with Santa on a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle and decorate a motorcycle-shaped sugar cookie.

December 4 – 18 Visit with Santa at North Point Lighthouse Santa will be visiting the North Point Lighthouse on Sundays, December 4, 11 and 18 from Noon – 4pm. Join us for a lighthouse holiday tradition! Jolly Saint Nick will fill the lighthouse with holiday cheer and smiles for children and families. Bring your cameras and start the festive season with fun and joy.

December 10 – 27 Milwaukee Ballet’s The Nutcracker The magic, mayhem and music of Milwaukee’s most popular holiday tradition continues to delight and inspire. Featuring gorgeous costumes, a live orchestra, and a colorful cast of characters, The Nutcracker fills hearts with festive spirit and memories that last a lifetime.
