August 3-7 Ozaukee County Fair Since 1859, the Ozaukee County Fair has been offering residents and visitors great traditional fair entertainment such as five stages of live music, truck & tractor pulls, a full midway, fireworks, demolition derbies, horse shows, contests, livestock exhibitions & judging, kids entertainment and more!
August 3 Tosa’s Night Out at the MKE Zoo Join Tosa for a Night Out at the ZOO! Tosa’s Night Out is designed to build and sustain community police partnerships that have a lasting impact on the quality of life for Wauwatosa’s residents, businesses, and visitors.
August 6 1870’s Base Ball Game at Old World Wisconsin. Experience our National Pastime through a recreated game on our authentic 1870 base ball diamond. Players of all ages can try their hand at batting and fielding following the game of historic base ball.
August 6 Surf & Turf Festival at The Rock Sports Complex. Plan for a day of fun in the sun and a delicious meal of the most popular flavor duo on the planet—Surf & Turf! Milwaukee area’s top chefs have lined up the freshest and high quality ingredients to create their take on surf & turf. Food items will be served a la carte, so guests should come ready to indulge on a variety of dishes. Enjoy live music and art for a perfect date night or family outing!
August 6 All Access Day at Ten Chimneys The most exclusive tour day of the entire season! Take a dip in the Lunts’ historic pool, enjoy a picnic by the Cottage, listen to live music as you walk the grounds of Ten Chimneys, and tour the historic buildings at your leisure.
August 6-7 Firefly Art Fair Held on 1.5 acres of gardens and grounds at the historic Kneeland-Walker House, the fair includes over 90 juried artists.

August 12-14 Greendale Village Days Celebrating our 78th anniversary, Greendale will host a three-day Village Days festival event. This celebration weekend will be jam-packed with live music all day every day, several food options, carnival rides, BINGO, the Rummage on the Green, and the Village Days Parade on Sunday. Come on down to Greendale for a weekend full of FUN!
August 13 Rousing with the Roosters at Old World Wisconsin. Extend your Life on the Farm experience. Try out the 19th-century lifestyle by working together in the Schottler bakehouse to prepare a sunrise meal the same way many early immigrant farmers did.
August 16 KWT Jamboree The Zoological Society of Milwaukee and Kohl’s Cares have partnered to bring you Kohl’s Wild Theater, which provides conservation-themed theater performances using drama, songs and puppetry.
August 16 Oconomowoc Kid’s Fest Join the fun and come see what local organizations have to offer your family and our community! Enjoy games, entertainment, music, inflatables, arts & crafts, food, and more!
August 18-21 Irish Fest A baking contest, Celtic Canines, Cultural Village, Family activities and Jameson Lounge.
August 20 Run/Walk to Irish Fest Arthritis Foundation’s Run/Walk to Milwaukee Irish Fest® participants will enjoy a 5K route along the lakefront, an event t-shirt, FREE Sprecher beer after the race (available to participants over the age of 21), and FREE same-day entry into Milwaukee Irish Fest before 3:00 PM!
August 20 India Fest Filled with the colors of courage, peace and happiness. A free day of culture, collaboration, history, diversity and inclusion.
August 20 Tosa Youth Tri The fun begins at 8:00 a.m. on August 20, 2016 at TOSA Pool at Hoyt Park. Children can choose between two distances. All competitors receive a t-shirt, goody bag, refreshments, and a one-year USA Triathlon membership.
August 25-28 Muskego Community Festival Largest free admission festival in Southeast Wisconsin, including Muskego’s Got Talent.
August 26-28 Mexican Fiesta Three days of fun, food, Mariachi and Fiesta for everyone.
