Cranberry Eggnog Holiday Scones

These scones are perfect for ushering in the holiday season! They use festive ingredients like eggnog and cranberries and pair nicely with coffee in the morning or tea in the afternoon. Or with a LaCroix and Netflix on a chilly weeknight evening. Let’s slowly relax into our comfiest pants and enjoy every flaky, tart bite.  

Cranberry Eggnog Scones
  1. 2 cups flour
  2. 3 teaspoons baking powder
  3. 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  4. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  5. 1 (generous) cup eggnog
  6. 1/4 to 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  1. 1. Gather items - ingredients, one mixing bowl, baking sheet and cooking spray/parchment paper. 2. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Or, line a baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside.
  2. 2. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  3. 3. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, nutmeg and salt. Add cranberries and mix (now it's a party!). Eggnog joins the party and mix with a fork until just incorporated, dough will be sticky.
  4. 4. Divide dough into eight portions and form into generous portions on baking sheet.
  5. 5. Bake for 17-20 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Enjoy!
