June 2 Jammin’ on Janesville :: Jammin’ on Janesville is Muskego’s business street festival, offering summer fun for the entire community. Wander down beautiful Janesville road and visit over 50 business vendor booths where family activities, games, prizes, give-aways, bouncy houses, face painting, dunk tanks, and many more exciting items await. Visit our food court for awesome local cuisine and entertainment. Trolley and shuttle service available. Free admission; fees apply to food and certain activities.
June 2 Presto-X Insect Zoo :: Learn about the fascinating world of insects with entomologists from Presto-X when they visit the Museum and bring along some of their unusual insect friends for children to experience up close.
June 3 Historic Beer Brewing at Old World Wisconsin :: Old World Wisconsin and the Museum of Beer and Brewing are partnering and bringing to life 19th-century brews. See the brewers use equipment and techniques from the late 1800s and heirloom hops and barley grown at Old World Wisconsin.
June 3 Wisconsin Rapids @ Lakeshore Chinooks Game :: Wisconsin Rapids faces off against the Lakeshore Chinooks at Kapco Park, on June 3rd! First Pitch at 6:35 pm. Come out to get your Bob Uecker Bobblehead, the first in our four game tailgate series. Visit our website for more information, on all our giveaways and promotions! June 3 E.B. Garner’s Annual Fishing Day :: Learn the art of fishing from water safety to baiting the hook to reeling the fish in at this yearly fishing extravaganza.
June 3 Kids Heart Challenge with American Heart Association :: Let’s get kids moving! A healthy heart will help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke in the future. Sign up now, kids ages 5-12, to participate in a half-mile course with obstacles!! Every participant will receive a bandana and finisher medal at completion.
June 3 Tiny Steps, Big Hearts Run and Walk :: Family-friendly event featuring a 2-mile walk, a 5K run, and an all new 10K run. But it’s more than exercise – Branches Band will be jamming live, kids can enjoy free face painting, balloon animals, and a bouncy house & a raffle with awesome prizes! Help raise money for the moms & babies at New Beginnings – A Home for Mothers.
June 3 Stampede for Scouting 5K Run/Walk :: Come out for a great cause! Proceeds from Stampede for Scouting are designated to provide Scouting programs to underprivileged youth in at-risk neighborhoods in Kenosha, Milwaukee and Racine.
June 3-4 Holy Hill Art & Farmer’s Market :: We’ll present to you the treasures of our local artists, farmers and collectors. Come meet our Market Folks – See their work and talk with them about custom work Go back to the basics… Sit and enjoy coffee, hot sandwiches & soup, bakery and other refreshments. Check out our New Grainery Bar – Bloody Marys and Sangrias! Bring family and friends to enjoy lunch and our live musicians while taking your time to shop, relax, and create.
June 4 Milwaukee Taco Fest :: Taco Fest has been bringing together local Milwaukee restaurants for a day of taco tasting, tequila, margaritas, cervezas and tons of great entertainment. The event will feature lucha libre wrestling from Mondo Lucha!
June 9 The Jungle Book – Free Movie in the Park :: Gift of Wings and Greendale Park and Recreation are proud to bring back Free Summer Night Movies in Greendale’s Gazebo Park again this summer. Our first movie of the summer will be Disney’s “The Jungle Book” on Friday, June 9th. The movie starts at dusk. Bring your blankets and chairs and get ready for a fun night at the movies. Gift of Wings will be selling food, ice cream and beverages and POPCORN is only $1.00!!
June 9-11 LionFest in Thiensville :: Fun and good for all ages, including the Lions Famous Chicken Dinner, live music by the Toys, Bella Cain and more, a softball tournament, car show, carnival and bingo.
June 9-11 St. John Vianney Festival :: Rides, games, food and beverages, and entertainment for all ages!
June 10 Les Paul’s Birthday Celebration :: In honor of Les Paul, Discovery World celebrates the birthday of this legendary innovator and inventor with a day dedicated to the “Wizard of Waukesha.”
June 11 Locust Street Festival of Music and Arts :: The 41st annual Locust Street Festival of Music and Arts celebrates the vibrant and diverse community of Riverwest with live music, food, beer, a local marketplace and the annual Locust Street Beer Run!
June 14 Tosa Tonight Free Summer Concert :: Join your community for live music at the beautiful outdoor Rotary Performance Pavilion! Come back with us to the “lazy” days of summer, when life was so simple and the cool evening breeze welcomed each twilight. Sip ice-cold beverages, sample a delicious variety of food, indulge in fresh ice cream and other treats, all topped off with fantastic music.
June 16 East Troy Cycling Classic :: FREE festive family atmosphere surrounding a stage of the USA’s largest competitive road cycling series, the Tour of America’s Dairyland! Watch both professional and amateur racers from around the country and the world! Racing action takes place from 10:00am until 8:30pm.
June 16 In the Gardens for Children’s Education :: The Friends of Boerner Botanical Gardens Annual Fundraiser: A night to enjoy yourself and support a great cause – our children’s education programs! Proceeds from this fundraiser directly support FBBG Children’s Plant Science & Environmental Education Programs.
June 16 Capuchins’ Run Walk for the Hungry :: Join the Capuchin friars as we walk or run for the hungry at Polish Fest. This is the 12th year for the event whose proceeds feed the hungry through Capuchin Community Services.
June 16-18 Handel’s Bestiary :: Come explore the menagerie created when Danceworks Performance Company, Milwaukee Opera Theatre and Lynden Sculpture Garden reunite in a new collaboration featuring dance and opera by an intergenerational cast of creatures!
June 17 Henderson’s Ride for Hope :: Join William Henderson, Dorsey Levens, John Kuhn, and Tony Fisher on Saturday, June 17th for Henderson’s Ride for Hope. Help these teammates raise money for Generations Against Bullying. Bike ride features a 60-mile, 25-mile and a 5-mile family ride. Post party offers food, Sprecher Brewery Beer Garden, Exquisite Children’s Area, and Entertainment by: Brother Beer, Soul Survivors, Limited Edition and Generation Z. All this is taking place at Coal Dock Park in beautiful Port Washington, WI.

June 21 Tosa Tonight Free Summer Concert :: Join your neighbors for evenings of fantastic music under the stars, featuring local, national, and international talent. Your food and beverage purchases from our local sponsors help raise money for the ongoing non-profit operation of the Rotary Performance Pavilion – home of the Tosa Tonight Summer Concert Series. Music starts at 6:00pm.
June 23 Shakespeare in the State Parks :: Seven-person Shakespearean comedy and educational workshops – free, accessible, and fun for the whole family.
June 24 Railfest in East Troy :: See all our operating railroad cars, trolleys, streetcars and other equipment, plus bring your family to enjoy face-painting, miniature railroad rides, speeder rides, tours, and model railroad building fun.
June 24 Family Fishing Adventure at the Urban Ecology Center :: Anglers of all ages and skills are invited to guided fishing expeditions around the Milwaukee area. Each month we will visit a different park. Gear and transportation provided. Fishing licensed required for ages 16 and up. Please register by Thursday, June 22.
June 24 Paddle Under the Sun :: Celebrate the coming of summer with some afternoon fun in the sun! Enjoy guided canoeing trips and family fun on our island. All canoeing skill levels welcome. Please register by Thursday, June 22.
June 24 88Nine Radio Milwaukee Block Party :: To celebrate 10 years in the community, 88Nine Radio Milwaukee is throwing a block party outside of its home in Walker’s Point.
June 28 Walk with Me at the Zoo :: Walk with a “porpoise” and help make a difference in the lives of people and their families facing today’s disabilities.

June 7 – October 25 Westown Farmers’ Market :: The Westown Farmers’ Market features more than 50 vendors selling Wisconsin-grown produce and flowers, delicious prepared food items, handcrafted art and jewelry, lunch from area restaurants and live music in the park’s gazebo. Spend your Wednesday’s shopping local at the Westown Farmers’ Market!
June 14 – Aug. 30 River Rhythms :: Westown’s free, outdoor summer concert series in Pere Marquette Park is Milwaukee’s destination for music lovers on Wednesday nights from 6:30-9pm.
June 18 – Sept. 24 Custard Capital of the World – Custard Tour :: Milwaukeeans demanded & Milwaukee Food & City Tours delivered with the creation of a tour dedicated solely to highlighting the “custard capital of the world.” On the tour you will visit the shops & stands that have been institutions throughout Milwaukee’s historic communities.
