Usually, Wisconsin winters cause a grumble and a roar of “it’s too cold out!” but there are the days that are sunny and crisp; when the snow glitters and every single giggle echoes. Those are the days that I live for because they are the perfect sledding days.
My daughter lives for those days too. She is the first one out of the door looking like the little boy from A Christmas Story while I follow her loaded up with the sleds and a thermos full of hot chocolate. Just like that, we check out and go offline to spend the day flying over the packed snow.
